Default b20z or b18c1 turbo......

which one would be more safe and reliable and faster, im just going to keep the motor stock internally with a drag kit, 550's, 3" all the way, hondata. I know b20 will have more torqe but weak sleeve, but vtec is not bad too. I have the b20 right now, but i found good *** deal on an 00 gsr motor. Which one would you guys chose?? ?

boost and the stock b20z sleeves dont mix well. 84mm (b20) vs the 81mm(any Bseries motor minus the b20) The gsr is going to have much more potenial in the long run. VTEC will own you

gsr with no doubt. You can go further on a gsr than b20

if you're going straight up... then I'd almost agree a B18c1 with vtec and revving high, then you might want to consider that...

if you're gonna go B20/vtec, then I would definitely do that. with the 2.0 liter, you'll beat a 1.8 and he'll never catch up... with regards to sleeves cracking, read my signature.

well i made 112 @wtorque in my ls and made 130@wtorque with my b20z so u be the judge

b20z turbo w/ a gsr tranny will not be a easy opponent to beat on 8psi. massive amounts of torque. right now we have a JDM b20b turbo teggy with about 9psi running strong and more reliable than the ls. the b18b sleeves said byebye (3 of the 4 where practically shattered. its all on tuning. if u have the money then yea gsr turbo but dunt doubt the b20z potential.

turbo to turbo no. but take a all motor vs a all motor w/ the b20z wit the gsr tranny gsr will only win up top.no way 1-2nd gear the b20z will lose wit a good driver. 3rd gear tho its all over up top half of 3rd
