I am getting ready to Turbo the R and wanted to know if running around 5lbs of boost will it still be capable to do autocross?

 

.....it is my intention to run about 8psi on the R for autox.

I already have a 4.9 final for when it's still spooling and I need the low-end acceleration.....

I won't be done until a little later this season, so we'll see how it goes.

If you don't want to run SM, then you might want to reconsider... you could be more competitive in another class with fewer mods...
