Default Quietest Muffler and Resonator setup?

I have a built ls/vtec thats currently running open header, and im somewhat afraid to put a muffler on it. I dont want it to sound like ****, id really like it to be as quiet as possible. Also, a cat-back is not an option for this car...There is no more gastank, so id like the muffler to reside in that area.

Leaning towards a couple feet of 2.5, a resonator and an ES oval....Do you guys think this will be quiet and not raspy? Any other suggestions are appreciated...

Im wanting the same thing as you, not the same setup but a nice quite exhaust with no rasp.

I would think 2.5 inch and two resonators would do the trick.

it will still be loud. I have a 2.5" piping, with a 22" magnaflow resonator and a magnaflow muffler, it still very loud after vtec.

try rs-r ex mag, suppose to be the quietest exhaust on the market.

Im running an lsvtec with a DC header to 2.5 inch piping (factory route) all the way to an ES tunning oval and it may be the sound your looking for. It is not really "loud" before I get into vtec it is actually quite quiet. When vtec engauges (in the car) I hear more intake than exhause sound.
