Tuner Toys oil fittings....

ok, well most of you know that when you mount the Autometer oil pressure sending unit onto the back of the block with the OE one....you can run into problems of it cracking and either leaking or falling off......and me being the huge wuss i am..i got skeered.
i have in my hands 2 tuner toys oil fittings...and i must say..i'm pretty impressed... i have a single and dual outles. i know most ppl use these in turbo applications, but i see it as a damn good thing for us N/A guys too....cause i know most of you don't want busted junk either
i'm going to use a single outlet on my engine build...and run a line to the firewall for my autometer sending unit...and a friend (Sprayin CX) is getting the dual so he can run his vtec oil line and a line to his firewall as well...
but the fitting seems pretty top knotch to me....it's pretty beefy. They both got here promptly and the packaging was awesome....so, needless to say...i am VERY pleased! They even came with really good instructions and TQ specs
These just might be a very common thing for me to use now

Thanks for the good words guys! Glad you like the fittings! Next we are working on a mounting kit for the Golden Eagle Vacuum Manifold.

All the homemadeturbo kids swear by your fitting, it's strange how each big forum has a little different "ideal" setup and parts selection.
Here's a thread on HMT, with their current offerings. You can get vouches and experienced opinions on their product there... their FS thread has been stickied to the top of the forum for over a year now because they extend pretty good hookups and inexpensive quality solutions. http://www.homemadeturbo.com/f...17234

my friend has a b16 crx with the electric oil sending unit also. bought a fitting from summit and some braided line, fabbed some brackets and mounted it to the firewall right above the im. looks cool and is definitely safely than attaching it directly to the block. he had to find out the hard way. don't ask.
gsrlkn412s,
We totally agree with you on hanging sending units right off the block. This is never an acceptable way to install, and you're just asking for trouble if you do. We don't reccomend this, even with our steel fitting, there is just to much vibration and weight. Our fitting is perfect for your friends type of solution, giving you the proper threads to connect the braided lione to, while allowing you to still retain the factory sensor very near to the factory location.
Thanks for the good words!
