Hey gys im gettin ready to put my tranny in tomorrow just wondering what is the best fluid to use. Ive read the info that comes with the LSD and there was nothing.I want honest answers no BS or smart *** coments.

 

i would get some good synthetic gear oil...amsoil or redline or something like that

 

I would highly recommend GM synchromesh

 

i liek to use 2 quarts honda mtf with a 1/2 quart or whatever is left to fill synchromesh

 

Im going to call Quaife and see what they recomend

 

So i guess ill do 2 liters of honda fluid and the rest gm syncro mesh? Or 2.5 liters of Honda MTF

 

i have used both and i think gm syncromesh is better, why? way smoother feel

 

has anyone ever tried BG syncroshift in a honda tranny? its what almost all dsm guys use and everyone knows how shitty their trannies are

that stuff does wounder i used it and now my car shifts so smooth and i have a B16/LSD I will never use anything else. Had an expencive full synthetic but didnt work nearly as well as the GM SYNCHROMESH did
