I have a 87 civic si and it started surging at any thing above an idle i found the elec control pulsing the injectors in and out when the throttle was applied and after some trouble shooting i found the tps to be bad but when you unplug it the car runs better than it ever had. my question is I have been running to car, only dif is the the computer light stays lit on the dash, and was wondering if it would hurt any thing else to use the car with tps disconnected
