Default Oil Pressure guage Q's

I am just wondering what maximum PSI I should have the guage be? 100? 180? and also how would I install this on my DOHC ZC? Is there any webpages out there that can help me out with some pictures? or can someone be very detailed?

you oil pressure gauge shouldnt go that high driving it should usually be around 65 and installing its different if you have electrical its harder if you have mechanical its easy but you would have to run oil line into your car usually you just plumb sending unit where the stock one would be.

I have a 100 psi Automete guage on my ZC and that is plenty high enough.

I used the instructions off http://www.theoldone.com for my guage install.

HTH.

where exactly is the stock unit? just so I am clear where to tap into and not end up with a drill over my block...hehe

I am guessing beside the oil filter, but to the left, right, top? it's gonna be hard to see whithout eyes, cause of the intake manifold

Thanks

its on top of the oil filter, go to home depot and get yourself some plumbing, all you really need is a t fitting.

I wouldn't recommend attaching a T fitting right to the block. Heard too many stories about vibration of the T fitting causing problems...

Follow the Endyn instructions. Its not that hard...

heres the deal if you use a fitting and its a soft metal like brass the ******* gonna crack the ***** to weak i used the fittings on my d16 block and two of them cracked in my block and it wasnt fun removing the leftover piece from my block go with mechanical much easier the hose shouldnt leak for a while if you install it right.
