Default Whats wrong with the T4?

ok Im thinking about getting a t4 kit from someone.

I was talking to a luder online, he told me the t4 wont be good for my h22 if i dont run more than 8psi.

Im looking for 250-300hp. In the future i plan to sleeve the block, and do various other things to push over 10 like others.

I could get a good deal on the kit, Thats why im so curious is to why the t4 isnt recomended.

it's a high flow turbo and so basically it has turbo lag and if you aren't planning to run a high amt of air, then it's not worthwhile

ok I get whats the problem now...

I can possibly get the whole kit for 1000, with all kinda of goodies, All the pipeings, hks bov, vtec controller, greddy turbo timer, etc.

Could I use the popular t3/t4 on the manifold thats coming with the kit?

I do suppose the t3/t4 is the popular turbo arround here? Best for the money?

just get the kit cause it sounds like a good deal. then clean up the turbo, sell it and spend that money on a good t3 and a adapter flange for the manifold.

Thanks for pointing me in a direction... if i do get the deal for 1000 it sounds like it'll be nice. However i do have a couple more questions for you..

1. Where can i get a t3 and adapter plate? I heard some good things about this t3-60 turbo?

Will the downpipe that came with the kit still work?

t4 is too big for anything but a drag car imo....i have the t3 60-1, and its borderline too big for street car....i love it though...i have the biggest turbine on mine though....same turbo w/.63 instead of .82 we be great to the normal person.
