Default HELP! NO FUEL PRESSURE?!

So I was cruising on the freeway yesterday..when I pressed the gas...there was a slight sputter...I let off and ease back onto the gas it's fine...but once I tried to go like 50% throttle or more it would just sputter...It kept doin this for about a minute...eventually it got so bad that it would just feel like the car was cruising when I would try to gas it up...then it just stalled...I pull over...try to crank it over...wont start...one time I got it to start and I kept on revving it to try and keep it on but it just felt like it was starving of gas and it shut off...look at fuel pressure gauge...reads 20?! I ask my friend to look at it while I crank it and it stays at 20psi? I know that my gauge usually reads 40PSI...This happened once before but my car started up after awhile...I can't find a pattern as to when it happens...One thing I noticed is that sometimes when I put my car on the ON position...my pump will sound smoothe...other times it'll sound lke it has a clog...could I have a faulty pump perhaps?? H-T please help me outl...I dont want to get stuck on
the f
reeway at 2 in the morning again...

Fuel Setup:
-B&M fuel pressure regulator and gauge
-255LPH Fuel Pump (I noticed my car would do this after this piece was installed ...but it's only happened twice so far...)
-440CC DSM injectors

I was thinkin that maybe the injectors were faulty..but then the fuel pressure gauge reads pressure before it gets to the injectors right? If I'm not making sense...please forgive me....it's 4:30am (I just got home since I had to wait for a tow truck)

PLEASE HELP ME!! THANKS!

UPDATE: PROBLEM SOLVED!! SEE BOTTOM OF PAGE!

the same exact thing happens to me. it happened before i put in my 255 and with it in. you should check your main relay for the fuel pump, allot of times its bad or the wiring is kinda shady. i very highly doubt the fuel pump is bad, especially if its fairly new.

UPDATE!!: The problem is fixed...it turned out to be my fuel pump...thanks for all the help ladies and gents!

just incase anyone ever comes across this problem, here are symptoms

1. Unsteady RPM when trying to hold it between 1-2k
2. Pump makes a funny sound when priming...like the sound that happens when a person is just about finished with a drink and only ice is left
3. Unusually louder noises coming from pump
