Default will this turbo d16 setup work?

im currently turbo-ing my 98 ex-d16 with stock internals; i have a high-flo cat and a custom mandrel bent 2.25 catback

ill be running a front mount with a td05-12a turbo...internally wastegated at around 11-12 lbs

for fuel...i'll be using a walbro 255, a 12:1 FPR (FMU), and dsm 450cc injectors

will i be able to safely run about 11 lbs with my stock block??...i've been reading around and it seems very possible with my fuel setup...i figure my fuel will be adequate

i have about 80K on the block...also did compression and leak down test...i've kept about 97% of the compression

assuming this is all gravy...how many whp can i expect to put down??

thanx everyone!!

Everything sounds fine except for the fuel. Just replace the fmu with uberdata or the like and you'll be fine.

If you want to use a 12:1 fmu, you can't use the 450cc's. You could but it'd run like crap, it'd idle horribly (if idle at all). You need something to cut down on them (like an afc) but then it's just money being spent for nothing. As for obd2, just get a obd2-->obd1 harness.

hmmm...in that case...would i have a better go at "getting bye" if i juss not use a 12:1 FMU with the 450s then? or should i not use an FMU? or could i use a different ratio FMU? or use the 12:1 with different injectors? BASICALLY...how can i get by with my intended 11-12lbs setup WITHOUT afc or ecu upgrade?

as for obd2...yeah, i forgot about the conversion - stupid me

an FMU is designed to be used with stock injectors.

Assuming 35psi base fuel pressure, 11psi * 12:1 disc = 167psi fuel pressure

does that sound safe to you?

it sounds udderly ridiculous to me.

FMU's are crap. if you have larger injectors, get an AFC and hack it, or run a boost rom from one of the many free rom editors out there.

oh, btw, i doubt you could get 140whp with that much gas bogging the **** out of the engine.
