Default D16 crank removal

I've gotten the main cap off and now I'm stumped on the two caps holding the crank in. TIA.

Pull the oil pan off and look, there is one main cap. Take the bolts out, hit it with a rubber hammer, and pull it off. Now there are two things on the sides holding it on, how do I get them off?

there are five caps.. each cap have two bolts going thru it,there is 1 oil galley on top /bottom of main caps.....
the two caps that you re stump on are main seals
you have to remove rear main seal housing and oil pump assembly on each end ..they are held by bunch of 10mm bolts.. good luck

there are 5 caps but they sometimes stick to the thing going across (not sure what it's called). but yea you'll need to pull the harmonic balancer/timing belt & gear/oil pump/main caps/rear seal. then it should drop out of there.
