ok i removed my blown head, im buying a new one that has no cam gear so i have to swap them, how do i line everything up is there a certain way or do i just turn the dizzy to make it fir or what?? do i have to turn the cam at all?

 

Just set everything with #1 at TDC and get after it...the cam gear is keyed so it can only go on one way.

ya dood get a repair manual..the cam,crank pulley and distributor rotor all need to be aligned or something like that..
