should i get a b16a for my 93 integra??
ive been looking for a motor for my integra shell for awhile now. i wanted a b18 at first but its been two months looking for one and i havent found one for a decent price. im thinking bout a b16a. i seen one for 1200. complete with greddy headers, full exhaust, aem cold air intake. it was pulled out of a 91 integra. at first i didnt want a b16 becuase of the low end torque. but i just need to put something in there and get my car running. im not going to make it a full race car or anything. i just need something reliable with a lil speed. do u guys think 1200 for it is worth it? or should i wait for a b18 or b20???

if your looking for advice ...
sure, going with a B16 for getting around town is great, if you don't mind having puney torque.
Something you might be over looking is the OBD-0 & OBD-1 factor. That $1200 B16A engine your looking at, I'm assuimg its an older 89-91 B16A engine which are not OBD1 equipped engines; and your 93 integra is OBD1 equipped. So if you wind up buying this motor, you'll have to find an OBD1 B-series VTEC distributor, injectors, exhaust manifold that uses a single 02 sensor, and an OBD1 B16A ecu, which is gonna run you close to $700 or so.
Its best if you try and find an OBD1 cable B16A engine. They're kinda rare but that not that rare.
just some heads up...

Re: should i get a b16a for my 93 integra?? (Katman)
the guy with the b16a he pulled it out of his 91 integra. he has the harness for it. if his integra is a 91 then im assuming its obd0. now would that work with my car?
