Difference between USDM & JDM ITR Pistons
I just want to know the difference between the two, because the JDM yeild a slighty higher compression, why is it?
DO they have a higher dome?
DO they have a higher dome?
Why are they bothed class as P73 then, if they are differnet? How would you beable to tell.
How mnay more degree's bigger are they then the USDM?

well the JDM P73 piston's part number is: P73-00
US P73 is: P73-A0 ("a" I assume = american)
Dunno the actual heighth specs but these images help show the differences.
JDM ITR piston (P73-00)...

Perfect that is what I was looking for!
So the bigger dome raises compression. How big of a compression difference is there between the 2?

well US ITR engines are rated at 10.6cr, JDM ITR is rated at 11.0cr, so approx. .5 points higher w/an ITR piston.

Okay, Another question. Is it a good idea to use pistons that were previously used before, or can you buy after market ones, and if so who do you recommend.
