Default ARP or AEBS head studs

Which would you choose for a high hp application? The only advantage I can see is that the AEBS have a dimple so you dont bottom out the threads.. but as far as strength goes which would you choose? Are they comparable in tensile strength? I know the ARP bolts are 8740 chromoly(sp) steel with 190,000 psi tensile strength, but what about AEBS?

any input would be great.

ARP has been around forever and used in almost every hi HP application out there. They work for me .

But the AEBS bandwagon will jump on soon im sure

If I had the choice I would run the AEBS. Both make great head studs and it is more of a matter of preference than anything. They are super beefy and the dimple design preloads all the theads. I think ARP has changed there design and there head studs now have the same feature. I have used the old ARP headstuds with no problems. So either one should be fine, but for my next engine I am going to use the AEBS.

Thanks for the replies. I was guessing they were comparable just didnt know if one had an advantage over the other strength-wise.
