Yes you can drop them in and the car will run fine, don't expect huge gains until you tune them.

My b16a actually LOST 5 Hp from putting in ITR cams, intake manifold and TB.

Airflow was increased so much it leaned out and couldn't recover!

I got a Field VTEC controller and tuned it on the dyno... that was before the V-AFC's were out, though.

Interesting, what Hp do you have after tuning?
Do you have the before and after dyno plots of the 5hp loss?

Also interested in seeing those dyno numbers.

Lemme dig up the chart...

I had 142ish when I did a baseline with just exhaust and the b16a on the same dyno about 6 months previous. Same type weather. The drop off at 8500-8600 you see is valve float. I was running stock b16a(SiR I) valvesprings at the time.

I don't have the baseline dyno hosted... I can take a picture of it and get it posted if you want tomorrow or the next day.

Yes, this was done ont he same dyno they tune the ZEX car's and Comp Cams cars on.

Ignore the black line with the dots in it... That was an overlay of a beefed up GSR that we were comparing to my b16.
