Default did swap, need help...********

hey guys last night i finished my b16 swap into my 89 dx civic, it runs but has a idle of like 1400 at start up when its cold, also when driving and i let my foot off the gas it bucks REALLY bad like the whole car shakes, i dont have vtec wired up or any of the extra wires for b16, i am also currently running a b18 ecu

Sound like a wiring or fuel problem. You can try to take the idle down by adjusting the throttle cable or the idle screw

by any chance do u think it could be a vacuum issue, because we were playing around with the vacuum lines and its better but still occasionally does it, also i think it might be fuel because sinse i have the b18 ecu its totally different and i also have 2 codes, o2 and eacv(might be idle prob?)

you're runn a 1.6l engine w/ a 1.8l engines ecu man.. way too much fuel goin in. get yourself a pr3 quick.

no i have a pr3 ecu but i dont have vtec hooked up yet or any of the other b16 wires(4) hooked up so am just running it, would u recommend just dropping in the b16 one?

haha yeah this thing is a freakn pig on gas now compared to my 1.5, lol, there is only one problem, i dont know how to do vtec and the others,

Do a search on here, its easy. And once you have the 02 sensors wired CORRECTLY, then you will see a surge in fuel economy. Ryan
