you know what i mean? anyways im goin back to the junkyard tomarrow and i found a banged up civic like mine im getting some other crap off of, which part out of the shifter area should i grab to fix this? or is it normal..

get em off ebay for ever cheaper...poly bushings make it like night and day...have a set in my car and before that the shifter was like stirring a pot of stew...now its crisp

Don't know if it would fix that particular problem, but it does help shorten the throws to get it into gear. Don't go cheap....spend the extra money on a STEEL or really good material for this. Stay away from aluminum shifters.
