How much of a difference do they make on a short shifter?

Much less lateral movememnt in the shifter.

gets rid of that "rubbery" feeling when ya shift, gives ya more response and its better imo. i like my aluminum bushings

it feels nice and stiff going into every gear. no more of that mushy/soggy feeling. definitely worth the $10-$15.
