Default are these #'s possible?

Ok guys im planning on buying a motor from Spark Racing. The #'s they list on there website seem to be a tad bit high. tell me if they sound right thanks

Naturally Aspirated Street engine
Price $5495.95 Estimated at 220hp and 155trq
SPARK-1 LS/VTEC

Block: B18A/B 2.0 liter
Darton Ductile Iron Sleeves
Arias 11:5 Forged Racing Pistons 84.5mm
Eagle Rods

It doesn't say whp and wtq, so I would say no problem hitting those #'s.

That price seems pretty fair to me... I spent way more than that on my motor build.

That's a very decent price for a motor making that kinda hp and already assembled... in fact for a 2.0 liter... that's a great price. I'll tell you one thing... it's should make more than 220 to the crank.

good price, good set up...realistic numbers What ECU? that can add up too including dyno-tuning.

Those are wheel hp numbers the motors are can make more hp and have alot of potential its just up to you to add all the proper compents as well.. the numbers that are stated are all referenced from past projects and builds done at spark racing

ls block $200
forged pistons $500
eagal rods $300
sleeves $900
b16 head $400
pp and valve job $600
jun 3 cams $700-900
valfe train $270
new bearings $150
oil pump $100
timing belt and water bump $150
polish crank $30


total price is about low $4,000
so their charging you about 1,000+ for labor

i would just build the motor you self and save money

and do yourself a favor and dont go to sparks

I think own3d with the three. LOL I think price is high for a do it yourselfer. For someone going out to buy a pre built professionally done race motor with #'s to back it up it's GREAT.

Thats my little Secret ....j/k But yes sure 100 dollars for LS Cranks Just let me know and I also have a Knifed edge LS crank for $250 just laying around ... Its just Alot of my friends own rewreaking yards and you know they got to hook up the bother on cores
