Pros and Cons of 03 LX
im currently in the market for a new car and have essentially narrowed it down to a used 03 civic lx coupe and an 00 beetle gls
both fit my price range in case anyone was wondering the choice
in any case i wanted to know what the pros and cons of the civic are to help make my decision
thanks

1. my parents are selling the car while i'm gone, and while i'm driving i'd much rather have the comfort and safety of a newer model car
2. there are no hybrids in my area in my price range

Honestly, I'd just pick up a 96+ Civic for cheap and drive it for the next couple of months. The newer Civic is nicer, but not worth the extra money if you only plan to keep it for a little while IMHO. With that said, the newer Civic are MUCH nicer. The guages, the seats, the interior, all much much nicer.

Go up in price? I hope you're not saying that that 03 Civic will appreciate either. If you're set on the newer body style, look into an 01 or 02. Being used at all will help cut down on cost a lot.
