Default Help with dc sports header install

THis is a post for my friend he has an ep3 and just got sum ceramic DC headers..

We got all new gaskets and i think we have all the tools....o yah we got sum header wrap too...

Im just wondering has anyone done this and did they run into any problems...

I Just really wanted to know what I am NOT to do when we do this install..thanx for any help.

what you are NOT to do is break off any bolts from the old stuff, spray wd40 like a madman and let it sit

very straight forward installation. use llots of WD40 like VP said.

from what i hear its really a straight forward install. i would think thats its a little tougher then a header install on a bseries though. but i think it should still be done in less then an hour as long as you've ever held a wrench before

Is the header a race or a shorty? You don't need to take out the A/F sensor or secondary O2 sensor if it's a shorty. This might help...
