Default k20r or c5?

I'm debating between gettin a k20r or a c5, what do you guys think? passwordjdm.com has the c5 for about $2000 less. The k20r will have a lot less miles, and produce more power. K20r I have to buy mounts...is the power the k20r makes really worth all that?

If you don't care about money then get the k20a. It's great so far from what I've been reading.

If you don't want to spend that much money, just get the C5.

IMO, I would wait for the k20a. Someday prices will drop I hope as I am waiting myself for a good deal.

I haven't seen much internal parts for them yet. Maybe I'm not searching hard enough but hopefully it'll all come out soon. I'll prolly wait. I'm going to trade in my SI for an EG because I owe $11,000 on it and I'm tired of working just to pay for it. So once I get the hatch I'm going to save up for the swap.

If your willing to spend $6-7K on a K20 then might as well spend it on a crate motor instead... make it worth your money.

Otherwise I believe a B18C-R motor would hold its ground... anyday against the K20 motors.

crate motors arent that much better, for the money you could build a stronger motor yourself. You REALLY pay for crate motors.

that's good, K is a lot more work. Need patience. plan for extra money. Mounts, fuel pump, lines, fuel rail, prototype intake, header, new cat back.
