don't bother putting money into it if you're getting a b18 anyway

Dont spend any money on that "worthless" motor. Save the $$$, and you'll have the b18 faster. The money you spend on the motor you have now will be of waste since you are going to swap anyway, plus the power gains from small mods on a d15 are going to be minimal. REMEMBER Power:Weight ratio! For absolutely nothing you can take parts off your car (AC, PS, seats, w/e) and lower the curb weight of your car. Try this.

Yea definately dont bother with the d15. Why waste money on parts that wont change over. The only thing I would even consider if I were you would be exhaust however I still wouldnt do that. Save your money for what you really want.

I would wait and do a b18c1. If you just want fast I'd rebuild the d and turbo it. I however like the concept of gsr-ness in my car. So i'm saving up for a b18c1 as well... b16's are okay IMO but they have the same torque as a d16y8.

BTW, try to have 2x what you're paying for the engine in the bank in case something goes fooey.

Leave the d alone, just wait patiently. Open a Roth

Turbo or a D-series is useless.

True dat, so here's a flaming ******* response to make it seem more like home....j/k

If you have the means to save up for a B16 or B18, do not even THINK about spending money on the weaksauce engine you have now. You're better off just flushing your money down the toilet.
