Help!! Starter Kill Chip Problems!!!
Hi, I got a 2000 Civic EX and tonight my friend's kid stuck something inside the chip holder, a blue spark came out from under the dash and now the red light won't stop blinking even with the chip in. I had to start my car by jumping the starter to the battery.
Any ideas before I take it to Honda??
Any help would be appreciated....
Thanks in advance......

I'm a little confused. What chip holder, and what chip are you asking about? Where is it located? Maybe I'm missing something obvious...

It's the little Anti Theft Chip kinda low on the right side of the dash. You're supposed to remove it to prevent auto theft....

hmmm can alwayz start by looking at the fuses maybe one of them when out.. also if you know someone that is pretty familiar with hondas he can probably bypass the starter chip and see what happens
