Default integra LS turbo question(s)

hey,

I got the following set-up (not installed, YET!)

T3 off a Buick Grand National
Vortech FMU 12:1
TurboXS type-h RFL BOV
Custom Intercooler (26x7x2.8 core)
Boost controller
still looking for manifold

Here's the question: Do you think my B18B would spool this puppy up, or would i have to buy a smaller turbo?

Any other suggestions are very welcome. If you have turbo piping available, that would be great aswell. Its going in a 95 Honda civic LX (4dr)

Thanks

Johan Broersma

What are the specs of the turbo? What else are you using with the fmu, ie fuel pump etc. I would recommend going hondata or the like, such as uberdata and getting your ecu chipped.

This would also be better posted in the Forced Induction forum....

More than likely...you'll be ok with that turbo.

I've got a T3 from an old Ford SC with a .63 A/R on the exhaust side, and with an exhaust leak where the turbo meets the manifold, I still have full boost at 4k RPM.

I think your integra's gonna have a lot of lagg if u add the mods that you posted. Recommend you go with a smaller one.

Most of the stuff he listed will hardly affect spool time.

The turbo's trim ratings and a compressor map would tell you how fast it would spool.

Blue bomb: What kind of power are you looking to make with your setup?

Also, are you going to use any piggy back engine management? I see you've got the FMU listed...what about injectors? fuel pump?

haha is this a joke?

the t3 will spool pretty quick with a b18b. you will have more low-mid end power with this turbo. i would recommend an inline fuel pump to go with the 12:1 fmu.
