Default speedometer switch

well i know how a bunch of people swapped out the cable vss for an electronic vss...now i was wondering if you could put in a switch so that you can make the speedo stop working and start working at any time?

You can switch the cluster but, if you don't have the odo set, you MUST claim "not actual milage" when handing over registration.

Sorry bro, I wasn't trying to accuse you of anything illegal, so sorry if you took it wrong. I was just stating, for your safety/legality/whatever. I work for a speedo repair/odo tamper check center and if I am not mistaken, if you shut down power to the speedo, you will in turn shut down power to the odo. Don't hold me to it, as I have been wrong before. I like the idea of the "inop speedo" though. Cops around here will still give you a "fix-it" ticket and you must appear in court proving you had it repaired to have fines/points waived. Sorry to get you upset, as it was not my intention.
