good head swap on my b20?

Default good head swap on my b20?

my friend has a 1st gen b16 head for $300... i have a b20z in my 98, running on obd2 ls ecu....

is the 1st gen head a good choice for my motor if i wanted to stay obd2?

Any head will work for that application, whether it's an OBD2, OBD1, etc. head doesn't really matter. What matters is that you use the proper OBD2 components (distributor, injectors, ECU) and have all of the sensors hooked up and working properly.

Will I be able to use my obd2 LS distributor? what ecu would you recommend if i was to stay obd2...civic ex or gsr?

As for the ECU...use a GSR or Type R OBD2 unit...possibly a 99-00 Civic Si

...i was wantin to do either ls/vtec on my teg or wait and buy a b20 block and put this b16 head on it. either way it would be sweet, but are you for sure that it diesnt matter if thehead is obd2 or 1? and if the head is say obd1, and my car is obd2, can i still use the ls dizzy, injectors, etc.? ill im you anyways,

GSR i can find..Type R is rare here..99-00 SI...don't want to convert to obd2b from obd2a....

How about the 96-96 Civic vtec..p28?

...there was a type r ecu in the classifieds for like 50 bux, they arent that hard to find, you just have to look a little bit. if you wanna spend a bit of money just get a hondata unit.
