Default obd1 motor swaping in an obd2 head

i got a chance to get a ported and polished head with some sweet cams for free if i give him my gsr head (hes selling the motor so he would rather i get the head than some tool) problem is its an obd2 head. i was wondering if i can run my gsr obd1 ecu with an obd2 head, i want to keep it obd1 because its easer to tune, work on etc..., if i cant run that computer than is it possible to swap out att the wiring on the head from mine to his or am i stuck with either my head or swaping to obd2?

It is easier to swap then out for your OBD1 injectors and distributor then rewire for them.

If the new head you are getting is a gsr head, just swap the distributor and complete intake manifold(including injectors and all sensors) onto the new head.

If its a b16 or itr head, then you need to use the b16/itr intake manifold, but reuse you obd1 injectors and distributor. You'll also want to get the b16/itr throttle cable and intake.
