h22 accord, no spark?

Default h22 accord, no spark?

just finished the swap, did all the vtec wiring. went to turn it over, not getting any spark. i read somewhere that on an lx, a wire needed to be run to the distributor? help please!!

there is a 3 pin plug that goes to the accord coil, solder the two heavy guage wires together, this allows the h22 distributor's coil to work. the 3rd wire in the plug, light guage green, is unused.

a common problem with the h22 is the ignighter in the distributer

mine did the same... and it was a ground problem.. the ground that is right under the distributor and right by the top of the trany was my problem... it was loose and i didnt' have any spark at all.. but i fixed it up... and runs good now... good luck...

Would this need to be done on a JDM H22 going in to an Integra ? Im not getting any spark either, and TOtaly lost. Grounds are all good.

most likly it would need to be done on any car that is going from an internal coil to an external, 91hatchattack is talking about my car he did the work on it and it runs great and that is a jdm h22

The integra has an internal coil distributor. so I assume there is no need for the modification here.
