h22 accord, no spark?

just finished the swap, no spark. i read somewhere that a wire has to be run to the distributor, any help is appreciated.

motor: obd1 jdm h22

car: 94 accord lx

it was the 3 pin connector, i didn't know that you had to solder the heavy guage wires together.
