yeah man, read up all you can
to do ls/vtec correctly, you need to do much more than simply swap heads. It'll probably cost you a total of somewhere between 1 and $2K to make it reliable (maybe even more $ than that....)

ok heres the deal, you need to get the b16 head put on your ls block. the reason you shouldnt do a b18 is because you would have to change the obd. my friend has an integra ls with a b16 head and everything runs great. make sure you have your vtec line extra tite. a good reason to choose the b16 head is quite the fact that it doesnt only flow better, but it has more compression, and the vtec is nutz! when you get all this make sure you get the p28 ecu. its what works best. some people are right though, a swap would be better, because the chances of a leak with the new head are high, and plus when you put that b16 head on, you have to drill through **** just because its vtec and all the other stuff isnt. if your looking for something more reliable and you have alot of money, do the complete swap, make sure everything is vtec ready. if you dont have alot of cash and your lookin to spend about anywhere from 8-1200$$ and you want your **** hauling, do the head. But first i would suggest reading up and learning everything about it. We all must learn to crawl before we walk.

Nice try man..
Anyway like everyone said LS/VTEC will take more work and probably more money.. Your best bet would be the Golden Eagle LS/VTEC kit if you're really serious about doing it.. It has its advantages over a stock engine swap because of the added torque yet you cant rev as high unless you really build it... If you dont have the time and money to do it right you're better off with a basic swap.. I wouldn't recommend a b16 in your integra just because a stock b16 wont feel much faster due to the lack of torque..
For a beginner, someone who just got into modifing hondas or cars in general I would keep the B18 and learn on it.. Move on to something else when you're ready..
