How much would it be to swap my 99 Civic EX Coupe Manual Non-VTEC SOHC D16Y7 (I think thats my engine) to a DOHC V-TEC D16Y8???

Plz leave a cost as precise as you can get with a company....

haha i second that man.. u know squat.. u ask for a price when its not needed.. u have a EX.. a D16Y8 is an EX motor so why do a swap?

 

******* search, you ******* idiot. First of all, unless you're in Canada or Europe (not sure if it's diff.), the EX should be VTEC, D16Y8. Second of all, the D16Y8 is SOHC. D series = not a DOHC

 

Wrong. The ZC is DOHC. Oh and SOHC \/ \/ \/.

 

the ZC also came in SOHC

the fact that you even answered that question bothers me . . .

I don't really see how it could bother someone but okay. The fact is all that you really need to do is get a y8 or z6 head. Its not just a staright bolt on but i works, search under "minime" you should get some good results.

 

Like they said your car already has a y8 so you can send me a $100 and I'll do it for you. Oops I already finished..........
