D16Y7 to D16Y8 swap
How much would it be to swap my 99 Civic EX Coupe Manual Non-VTEC SOHC D16Y7 (I think thats my engine) to a DOHC V-TEC D16Y8???
Plz leave a cost as precise as you can get with a company....

I shouldn't cost that much at all, but if you really want an upgrade then I would go with a B series. I can work you a pretty good deal on a B16 if you are interested. Just shoot me a PM or you can call me 408-887-8641.

But TwoRedEGgs....I would go with B series but I don't have that kinda money right now. And I'm not sure on how much D16Y8 DOHC VTEC is so thats why I was asking... I'm pretty sure it ain't as high as a B series but up there. But sure I'll shoot you a PM and see whats you got

******* search, you ******* idiot. First of all, unless you're in Canada or Europe (not sure if it's diff.), the EX should be VTEC, D16Y8. Second of all, the D16Y8 is SOHC. I don't really see how it could bother someone but okay. The fact is all that you really need to do is get a y8 or z6 head. Its not just a staright bolt on but i works, search under "minime" you should get some good results.
