Almost every time i go and get gas. I turn off my car, get 6-8 dollars regular at either Hess or Shell or Mobile. When its done pumping and i pay. I go to start it up and it starts up and then without touching the gas it turns off. And if i do touch the gas is bogs out and then shuts off. And then I have to wait a few min or so and it starts up fine. what is it?

 

is it only after you get gas?
or does it happen other times too?

well that **** makes absolutely no sense....only thing i can think of is to check injectors to see if theyre sprayin good, fuel pump, and spark plugs, although it sounds more like a fuel prob then air or spark if it bogs when u touch the gas

 

ya... seriously and its just randome that is only after refueling?
i'd say check the injectors too. just replace the f.filter if its old, and even check the fuel pump just cause. that **** is weird.

or clogged injectors/fuel system

get that junk you dump in your tank that cleans it all out. try some of that sea foam stuff as well

 

Every now and then i use that **** from STP....Complete Fuel System Cleaner. I really hope its not a serious problem. I use the same Octane all the time i get gas. And it doesnt always do it. No one has had this problem? God I fell like an *** when i get gas cuz i know my car is gonna cut out

 

Also what is Sea Foam?

 

i hear a lot about it, its some stuff you put in the motor via the intake, supposedly cleans the insides, lots of people here swear by it
