1st , do some archive searching in the integra forum..but here's some info:

ctr cams are identical to 2000 us spec itr cams.

all itr/ctr exhaust cams are the same, but pre-00 itr have 3 degrees less duration

valve spring issue:

gsr intake valve springs are the SAME PARTS AS ITR EXHAUST VALVE SPRINGS

move your intake springs to the exhaust side, and buy ITR intake valve springs

you'll be running dual valve springs on all valves..

a skunk2 manifold and a chipped p28 would be next on the list.

as the itr cams are made for vtec after about 5800-6000 rpm,and 4400 vtec on a skunk2 manifold absolutly sucks, it just bogs down til around 6k rpm

(assuming you have a nice flowing header and intake system already)

hope this helps you out, and search around..you;ll find everything you need..

i use to have ctr cams
and i think they suk
i felt no difference at all. just like a intake or a header. felt like a bolt on.
but my rs machine cams made a hell of a difference over the ctr cams. made real power can be felt big time and made the engine sound real mean.
oh and rs cams are equilvent to jun 3's and sk stage 3's

i have ctr cams in my car. its a good upgrade from the stock gsr cams. Car pulls alot harder especially on top end. I also have the skunk 2 manifold but run the stock ecu. like darrinbrewer said u have to raise the vtec crossover 5500-5700 which i will be doing as soon as i get hondata.

I got them put in and my car is quite a bit louder. Makes me feel faster. Don't think I actually got much power though.

thats my future plans....swap in some 1s or 2s and out with the ITR cams...

can stage2s run on ITR valve springs? i know stage1s can, but i'd like to make the jump up to the 2s..

i believe you will need a better set of valvesprings. i've seen some stage2's redlining quite high

if you keep the factory redline you are fine...but then again, why up the powerband and keep a lower redline!?!?!

with only ctr cams, SX fpr, and cam gears i made 168whp. i think the ctr's are a great cam for a street motor. this is on a 99 gs-r btw.
