how to replace ball joint boot
I don't think there is such a thing as just the rubber boot replacement or at least I have never heard of it before because if you need a boot then your ball joint is probably bad so they just sale the whole thing.
It is probably easier to pack the ball joint with grease BEFORE you install the clip. So I believe what muellersfan meant to say was "Cut off the old, install the new one, pack with grease, put on clip, martini"
Some of the better ball joint boots have a grease nipple, so adding grease can be last step. Otherwise, alter procedure logically.

I haven't seen one of those before... but your instructional path would be correct with one with a grease nipple. That type would be outstanding.
The prob is getting that clip on the new boot without tearing said boot, there is a tool for this but costs a little more as two new Honda gen ball joints..
