Have any of those who have driven an NSX noticed that the pedals are too close together? Granted I have large feet, but if I am in dress shoes (which I almost always am) I frequently bang the brake when hitting the gas or catch my shoe on the underside of the brake when I get off of the gas. It's a small inconvenience given how much I enjoy the overall driving experience, but I was curious if anyone else experiences that problem.
Hmph, I wear 10.5s and I always thought they were too far apart! If it's a big issue, you may want to see if there are any smaller than stock pedals out there. I believe MOMO, Mugen, and Sparco make the best quality pedals. I have the Mugens and they are about the same size as stock but a bit "grippier."
IIRC, there's a company called Autovation(?) that makes NSX specific pedals. You may be able to custom order a smaller set from them. Just an idea.

Perhaps interference with the brake pedal is caused by limited space between the brake and the right part of the footwell, rather than closeness of the pedals. Even with my dress shoe all the way to the right of the footwell, there can’t be more than 0.8” clearance between the left edge of the shoe and right edge of the brake pedal. However, I think it’s something that you just get used to and becomes less of an issue over time.
I wear about the same size as Ponyboy and think the stock pedal spacing is acceptable for street driving.
I have the Autovation pedals mentioned. The gas pedal included in the kit is definately much larger and mounts on top of the existing plastic/rubber pedal. The larger size makes heel-toe easier by decreasing the distance between gas and brake pedals and I have not observed any negative side effects. Although I never measured, I think the surface area of the brake and clutch pedal might be slightly smaller than stock. However, since it replaces the stock rubber covers with aluminum, you can use the entire area. So you're not loosing any “usable” area.
These brake and clutch parts are not much bigger than the actual metal pedal, so I’m don’t think you could go much smaller than the existing size. However, when you install, you can choose were in relation to the metal you want the part to be… There’s probably about 0.2” you have to play with left-to-right. So you can slightly increase the space between brake pedal and footwell, if the limited space continues to cause a problem.
