Default DOHC race head?

I was going to get a d16z6 but I just had a gentalmen offer me a DOHC ZC for $480. And I have a friend with a Race Head for a DOHC that he will sell me. This head is ported & polished, there is more done to it but i don't know what..I will find out tonight and post here what has been done to it. Does this sound like a good idea to go from buying a stock d16z6 to buying a DOHC ZC and putting a race head on it? Either way i want to then boost the motor to around 6 or 7 psi. Let me know what you guys think.

I would go with the Z6, alot easier to find parts for them, if anything happened...

Head work cost more then bolt ons or nos i seem to think that the zc sounds like a better deal.....but then again everyone makes a vaild point with the reliablity issue for the D16z6 and part avaliblity...
