stretching JDM wire harness
Ok Im looking to install my JDM engine swap into my car. I already know the wire harness wont reach to the corresponding clips. I can either A - buy a USDM wire harness for $100 or B - unclip the wires where they are ziptied etc and that should give enough slack to have them reach their destination. Kendall said he did it this way and it was fine.
Im going to try B first, but my question is should I cut the zipties, clips, etc while the engine is still on the pallete or do it once its in the engine bay. Im thinking aobut cutting the zip ties while the engine is still out of the car so I can get in all the nooks and crannies. What do you guys think is the best.

thats my last resort. Im not going for a show car and im nto showing anyone my car so if it doesnt look as clean, it doesnt bother me as long as it performs. Anyone have any recomendations. Cut the zip ties now or wait till its in to cut them
i'd go with option A then because if you plan on using the jdm harness your going to have to actually take the harness apart and extend a bunch of wires, which is a pain in the ***.
