Difference between XSI and SIRII?

it was also AWD if im not mistaken, but im not 100% shure, someone else can probly chime in fo sho

No, it is not a d-series motor, it says in the first post that it is is a B!6A2. On the hmotorsonline site it has the same power ratings as an sirII EG, but costs $500.00 less...just wondering why that would be?
The XSI b16a comes with a cable tranny..its out of a 2nd gen Integra. The SIR II is hydro trans.
So if you have a 92+ civic, you will need the hydro to cable conversion to go with the XSI changeover. The SIR II will be a direct swap.

Yea, Integras didn't switch over till 94, while the Civics, and other models (not sure about Accords) switched in 92.

All Civics, Accords, and Preludes had switched over to hyro trannies in '92 and I believe that the Integ had a hydro tranny as well in 1992. I think its just the 1991 and below had cable trannies.

Naw the tegs had cable till 93, along with the B18A1 in the LS and the B17A1 in the GSRs'. In 94 it switched to B18B1s and B18C1's, with hydraulic transmissions.

I know this isn't the Accord Forum, but check on the 92+ Accords being hydro. I believe they were cable until 94+. I don't recall Honda ever changing the tranny from cable-to-hydro in the middle of a cars generation.....
90-93 Accord (4th Gen)
94-97 Accord (5th Gen)
.....otherwise it would have made a whole lot more sense to change the 92/93 Integra to hydro.

The XSi is not a D series, nor AWD.
1989 -91ish XSi's have a gen 1 B16A with around 160HP
91ish-93 XSi's have a gen 2 B16a making around 170Hp due to more aggressive camshafts, bigger tb and higher compression ratio

Your absolutely right. I have a 92 XSi in my EG with a hyrdo tranny.

i really dont think that ANY integra was EVER all wheel drive and had a d series. the 1st gens had a 1.6 dohc, but never a d. plus, this is the wrong forum to be asking integra questions.

Because they were only in Japan.
Because they were only in Japan.
Yeah, I've seen that ZXi page before but there are almost none of them around. (I've never actually seen one) Most ZXi's from Japan are gen 2 ZC 1.6 litre non VTEC's.
More common are AWD Civics but it doesn't really count as AWD, the rears only kick in when they are needed which is not often.
