I think the xsi uses a cable operated tranny but not sure.

hydro is for 92+ civic's and 94+ integra's. older then that they are cable, its not worth your time to convert your car to cable if its 92+ but if its older i would recomend the hydro swap with the hasport kit. cable tranny's give a better feel, but with aftermarket clutch kits the cable tranny's can give you a workout always pushing it.

I agree. Yesterday I finally drove a civic other than mine with a cable tranny and i like the feedback on its stock clutch better than my hydro on its stock clutch. It was alot different with the amount of pressure applied though. With my hydro it would allow me to change gears with little application while the cable was more worktruck needing full application.

I have the sir2 tranny with lsd, only had it for a few days now but god lsd is way nicer than no lsd, personally hydro tranny all the way. all though the cable trannys are very easy to adjust when needed.

sweet so i should go with the SiR II and stick with the hydro tranny. sweet man tanks for all the input. its just im about to spend all this money and want to get the best product. by the way im going with a full race turbo kit tuned at 12 psi with cams full exhaust , msd, lsd, and afsc. it should be nice my goal is at least 280 to the wheels.
