I am rewiring my vafc cuz i am having problems with my vtec, and was just wondering what the VTM signal is? any ideas.... I am also throwing a cel 22 (oil pressure switch) do i need to replace the switch or was it because i was low on oil and will fix itself.

isnt is vtec oil pressure?

 

You need to hook up the vtm wire when you are wiring up the vafc. Also if you are throwing a code it may be cause the vtm wire is not connect or that you have the vtec wires wrong....make sure the wiring is right.

 

the VTM is as previously stated the vtec oil pressure signal, (not to be confused with solenoid signal) it goes straight from the ecu to the VAFC, the engine side of the wire gets taped off and dangles.
