Oil leaking from turbo
I bought a revhard stage 2 and installed it successfully. After about 4 days of driving at 7 pounds of boost, I was racing a cobra on the highway when my car sputtered a bit and started leaking oil out the turbo. I sent the turbo back, got a new one, installed it and it is doing the same thing. any info is appreciated
Yea, you can see it coming from the turbine side of the turbo. Rev Hard told me to check the return line to see if it was kinked or clogged and it's neither. Soo I don't know what the hell to do next. And by any chance does anybody know if it could have been from the turbo not being pre-oiled before it was run?
I played the "FedEx it back & forth game" with Majestic Turbo a few years ago. They kept "rebuilding" my turbo but it was dumping oil out of the turbine side and filling the downpipe. They finally replaced the turbo after 8 times of sending it back and forth. I basically paid for a new turbo with shipping charges. Are you sure that they sent you a new one and did not just rebuild your old one? I would also make sure that your oil return line is free and clear.
The oil return line is free and clear. They said they sent me a new one, and this one had a polished compressor housing, so I'm not sure if they definitely sent me a new one.
Having oil in the turbo doesn't necessarily mean that the turbo is bad. You might have some serious blow by going on....does your car smoke at all?

I heard about some turbos needing reducers on the feed line, but that isn't too common.

Oil restrictors are needed sometimes. Best thing to do is monitor the oil pressure seen at your turbo, and add a restrictor as needed. Nitrous pills or welding tips can be handy as restrictors.
Yea the first time when it happened on the highway it smoked real bad and the second time it smoked but not too bad. Also the return line was tapped into the top about 1/3 of the way from the left and that's where Rev Hard says to put it. The oil feed line came in the kit along with the return line. You're damn right getting two leaky turbos is unlikely, and it sucks. All six bolts on both sides are tight, but I heard from a friend that a turbo needs to be pre-oiled, and if so I had no clue. Thanks alot guys!

Did you crank oil into your lines before you started her up?
