brake question
Does the ABS on the ITR kick in kind of early in general? Recently I've been noticing my ABS kicking in a littel it does not seem to send the full pump through the pedal but u get some light pumps. At first i thought it was cus it was wet or cus my suspension made the wheel bounce. But it did it today when it was perfectly smooth and dry. I braked a little hard but not all that hard in my opinion but it still kicked in a little. Unless the vibration is somethign besides the ABS?
I've never felt the ABS to be a different feeling as in "more or less pulsing." It either works for me or doesn't but it never was too touchy or activated too easily.
Have you done any brake work to the car recently? IE rotors, pads, even Wheels and whatnot? Or when was the last time you looked ar or had your rotors replaced?
If you get a distinct vibration from your pedal and it is milder and clearly not your ABS, it is possible that you have an uneven layer of pad residue/compound left on them that vibrates the rotors (commonly misdiagnosed as Warped Rotor.) This can happen if you just drove the car hard and then came to a complete stop and parked the car and let it cool off.
IS your car still under warrenty? If so I'd take it in to be looked at if you have any doubts.

how do you detect that uneven residue/compund on your rotors and how do you get it off??

It vibrates the pedal when you apply the brakes. Most of the time from as soon as you start to apply the brake but sometimes it can get worse as the pedal pressure progresses.
To remove it, rebed the pads.
But, actually knowing the life of your pads and rotors is important as well, or at least when they were serviced or replaced last.

if it's warped though the vibration should be there under mild breaking too though right? mine only occurs under heavier braking but not pushing all the way down?

Not necessarily, I have experienced vibration at either mild or extreme application as well as from the first application to the floor. It depends.

Mine did that as well one time. I'm not diagnosing your problem, just giving you an idea of what might be the issue.
