Brake and Tranny problems, help please
i just replaced my brake master cylinder. we bleeded everything how your supposed to. when the car is off, the pedal builds pressure. when the car is on the pedal when pushed goes straight to the floor and rebounds back up. the brakes dont even grab. any ideas what is going on? we're going to check tomorrow for vacuum leaks. beyond that we're stumped.
tranny problem... just did a d16z6 swap to replace my d15b7. yes i'm too cheap for a B,H or K motor
, sorry. so we took the shift linkage from the old tranny and put it on the z6 tranny. with the motor and everything mounted up in the car and linkage connected properlty the shifter is like, leaned over about 2 inches in the car. still goes into all the gears its just 2-3 inches to the right of where it used to be, right in the middle.
sorry its long, but any help is greatly appreciated. still searching and still talking to people about both issues. other then that swap went pretty well for being my first one.

just a lil more in depth on that...
for the brakes... we bled the whole system and when the car is off vaccum the m/c builds up pressure and the pedal gets stiffer as u pump (like normal)... but when the car is turned on and vaccum is created... the m/c loses pressure and the pedal goes to the floor without resistance and stays that way... if u pull the vaccum line to the intake manifold and plug up manifold, it regains pressure...but reconnect the hose and it loses pressure again... it didn't appear to have any fluid leaks from anywhere after we bled it, so i dunno if its getting an air leak somewhere or wat the problem is.... the master cylinder was blown out and replaced with a brand new one, and it hasn't been bench bled, but pumps fluid fine off vaccum, so im gonna check all vaccum lines for a leak b4 we pull off the master cylinder to bench bleed it if needed.... ANY help or ideas would be appreaciated, im kinda stumped but i bet theres an easy solution that we haven't thought of...
as for the shifter linkage... the hole for the pin is about 30-40* to the right clockwise...
TIA

are you sure you bled the brakes right? starting at the drivers side rear wheel and moving in a counterclockwise direction?
iono...for some reason i wanna say that there is still alot of air in your brake system....good luck
