First off I have a sloppy *** shifter, like i can move it side to side like its in neutral or something when its in gear. And another problem im having is just finding first gear sometimes. It seems to be the most pain when im coming to a stop sign or something, I usually end up just go into second gear then on up to first. But i was probably going to change out my shift bushings and check out the shift linkage bar, you guys think that could fix my problem or what?

make sure you shift linkage isnt bent or something.

when you're under there, check to make sure that the bitch pin is in place in the linkage. a lot of shops don't feel like messing with that pin and put a bolt in there instead.
