Default Engine Bay Shot (B18C1 w/ Skunk2 Intake Manifold in a 92-95 Civic)

Sort of a weird picture request but the reason I'm looking for them is because I'm trying to decide on which intake to purchase with the Skunk2 or AN-R intake manifold I'm picking up this week. Just curious where the filter sits. I was hoping to find a short ram that sits over the stock airbox hole or a cold air intake that extends out to that stock air box hole and ends there. Please post what kind of intake your running (ex: AEM CAI ITR intake).

Thanks!

Pretty nice! What kind of intake is that? Regular short-ram Type-R? Thanks for the pic.

Thats a GSR in a 93 CX hatch, with a Skunk2 intake manifold and AEM CAI.

Thanks for the photos! That's exactly what I was looking for. Is that the AEM CAI for the Type-R or Si? Also, does the tubing end right after it goes down into that hole? Thanks.

I probably won't be buyng an AEM CAI, but a Checkpoint CAI... I just hope they are identical in specs (as in it will fall into that stock airbox hole as well).

i believe it is a EK one...they are the same if im not mistaken...it goes in for about 6" and has anothe slight curve to point the filter str8...i hae since removed the CAI....wheni dynoed it wasnt much of a difference....i now run a stock airbox with a 3" intake arm....i dynoed with a Iceman CAI and my aibox with 3" pipe and the ICEMAN laid 1 -2 hp more then me.....rather not risk hydrolocking my car when its wet outside

So a CAI for a EK will fit perfectly on EH's with B18C1's? Hrm.. what about the Type-R and Si CAI's?

Thanks for the pictures.

That CAI running through the stock airbox hole is exactly what I'm looking for. Just trying to figure out what kind of intake it is exactly as I'll be ordering the intake today or tommorow... or whenever I figure it out. I'm hoping it ends right after that hole.

If anyone knows which intake that is, that runs through the stock airbox hole, please let me know! Either the Type-R, 96+ Civic Hatch, or Si?
