Default which head gasket and timing belt for b20vtec?

hey guys i have a 00 b20z motor and i am putting my 94 gsr head on it. what head gasket and timing belt do i need? i searched and i only see people with bigger bores and stuff. i have a stock b20z block. anyone know? only answer if your 100% sure. thanks a lot

you will need a 84mm headgasket...oem will work. Go with a gsr timing belt

you need to get the timing belt depending on the water pump you use...
ls water pump(19t)=ls t belt
vtec water pump(22t)=gsr timing belt

i am using the b20 waterpump so im assuming im using the b20 timing belt and head gasket. is this correct?

no, it is not.

if you are going to rev past 7000 you need a 22 tooth (VTEC) water pump or you will probably overheat your engine.

you need a VTEC belt witha the VTEC pump.

agree... never do a Vtec conversion without changing the Oil Pump to GSR/ITR pump.
Guaranteed your b20vtec wont last long if you stick with stock non-vtec oil pump.

no - i am actually talking about the water pump.

i think that the B20Z shares the same oil pump as the B18CR anyways, so you are wrong.
