Default Q's.... Best way to DRIVE to the TUNERS...? When turbo is in the Car?

Planning to put in the turbo real soon, im gonna install it on my own.

Need some advise on how to drive my car to the TUNER shop... might be far away, how can I drive it there safe?

you could disconnect a charge pipe so you cant boost, or you could just drive it carefully so you dont boost.

this can cause the turbo to over-rev or over-spool or something like that. like rollydc69 said, taking the w/g spring out would be better.

Yeah...this is actually a horrible idea. I would either disconnect the wastegate, or just drive at &lt;1/2 throttle.

Ok sorry i retract my statement, but like i said just drive carefully so you dont go into boost.

just give it half throttle and dont' go in to boost

how are you tuning it? Why not just make a safe basemap in uberdata, hondata, or whatever you are using.

Im gonna have a hondata in when the turbo's in...

You think stock hondata s200B map will be safe for the drive?

you should have some kinda basemap made.. then just keep it in vacuum

Basicly... plug the hondata in, and drive slow to the tuners

A good base map, and stay out of boost. You should be fine!
